January 30:: P1 Initial Concept Ideas + Brief Outline

For project 1, we are given 4 different themes to choose from to create a poster to enter into a competition. Below I've listed the themes from the project brief for personal reference:

A . ECONOMY
In a Smart City production is an open generative process based on renewable energy resources in which waste elements are used as
inputs within new productive dynamics. Technology plays a fundamental role for the traceability of goods, for logistics, for disintermediation
and for sales to final consumers.
B. LIVING
It is possible to improve the health of citizens thanks to a correct management of waste and water resources, by multiplying green areas
and promoting a correct dietary education and a healthy lifestyle, respectful of the urban ecosystem.
C . MOBILITY
In intelligent cities mobility becomes an efficient system with the following key aspects: info-mobility of people and goods, connections
among the “eco” transport systems and road safety.
D. PEOPLE
Public life is directly connected to all above mentioned areas of interest and for this reason has an influence on many fields of action,
from the securing of the territory to justice, from professional

The only theme I really struggled with ideas for was D, People. Perhaps it's because it's a combination of multiple themes, but it's safe to say I probably won't be picking that one to use for my project. I came up with the most sketches for theme A, but really I could go with any of them.

The poster needs to communicate the chosen theme; I'm undecided at the time of this brief on which theme I specifically want to pursue, but I have several branching ideas to choose from.

This is a very loose concept brief, and will most likely be edited and reposted once I've made my theme/poster design decisions. It's too early on in the design process to have a definite decision at this point.
